About St. Austin Catholic School
St. Austin Catholic School is a Catholic elementary and middle school serving age 3 through 8th grade in downtown Austin, on the western edge of the University of Texas campus. It traces its roots to Newman Elementary School, established in 1917 as the parish school for St. Austin Catholic Parish, which is administered by the Paulist Fathers. It holds dual advanced accreditation and was the first private school in Austin to earn a National Blue Ribbon.
