About Marist School
Marist School is an independent, Roman Catholic, college-preparatory day school enrolling approximately 1,100 students in grades 7 through 12. It was founded in downtown Atlanta in 1901 by the Society of Mary (the Marists), a religious congregation established in France in 1836. The school moved to its current campus on Ashford Dunwoody Road in 1962. Its mission is to form the whole person in the image of Christ through the teachings of the Catholic Church and the spirit of the Society of Mary.
