Eye Exams
A comprehensive eye exam at Columbus Eye Associates evaluates all aspects of the visual system and overall eye health. According to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, adults under 60 should have an eye exam at least every two years; at-risk patients and those over 60 should be examined annually. Columbus Optical & Contact Lenses
Columbus Optical has provided fashionable, functional eyewear for Central Texas since 1960. Its in-house lab can cut lenses to fit most frame shapes and provides all current lens materials and coatings. The optical carries frames for all prescriptions and ages, including OSHA-approved safety eyewear. A National Contact Lens Certified technician and qualified opticians fit single-vision, toric, multifocal, monovision, rigid gas permeable, and specialty contact lenses — including lenses for keratoconus, post-refractive surgery, and post-corneal transplant patients.
