Brookside Community Health Center, one of two health centers licensed by Brigham and Women's Hospital, provides multi-disciplinary, comprehensive care with services in primary care (adult/pediatric/family), obstetrics/gynecology (including midwifery and family planning), dentistry, nutrition and WIC, and behavioral health and social services. It serves more than 11,000 patients annually from Jamaica Plain and Boston, generating over 69,000 visits. Staffed by bilingual English/Spanish professionals, it is a teaching site for Harvard Medical School, Mass General Institute of Nursing, Harvard Dental School, Boston University Dental School, and other Boston-area programs. The center’s mission is to provide high-quality, equitable, patient-centered care regardless of ability to pay, with a focus on health equity, community engagement, and training future healthcare professionals. It is part of the Mass General Brigham system, which includes 16 institutions and over 1,200 doctors across New England.

Community and Education
The health center is a teaching site for Harvard Medical School, Mass General Institute of Nursing, Harvard Dental School, Boston University Dental School, as well as other Boston area health care professional programs. It is committed to community engagement, health equity, and training the next generation of healthcare professionals, particularly those underrepresented in health care and committed to social justice.
