Our Providers
The Andorra team combines board-certified pediatricians and nurse practitioners with on-site lactation consultants. Dr. Bob Selig brings more than four decades of pediatric experience and is affectionately called 'Dr. Bob' by longtime families; his son Dr. Daniel Selig joined the practice in July 2008 after studying pediatric medicine since 2001 and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Rebecca McIntosh is a native of Connecticut and a Thomas Jefferson University graduate; Dr. Colleen Gulczynski holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Well-Child Visits
Andorra Pediatrics follows the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended well-child schedule, with visits at 3–5 days, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, and continuing through the teenage years. At each visit the team measures weight, length and head circumference on a growth curve; reviews feeding, sleep and development; and discusses age-appropriate topics such as safe sleep, tummy time, car-seat safety, toddler play and adolescent health. The practice recommends calling three months in advance to schedule with the child's primary care provider.

Sick-Child Visits & Same-Day Appointments
The practice schedules same-day appointments for ill children whenever possible. Patients are asked to call ahead so the team can minimize wait times. All visits require an appointment except in a true emergency; walk-ins may be asked to return later in the day or to be worked back into the schedule. Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be offered another provider or asked to reschedule, in deference to other scheduled families.

After-Hours & Emergency Coverage
Andorra Pediatrics provides 24/7 physician coverage through its answering service. After hours, patients call the main office number and a doctor on call will be paged and return the call. The practice asks families to save routine questions (mild illness, appointments, prescription refills) for the morning, and to consult the practice website first when practical. True emergencies (loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc.) require calling 911; for minor emergencies such as lacerations, cuts, mild fractures and sprains the office should be called first for instructions.

Lactation & Breastfeeding Support
On-site International Board Certified Lactation Consultants work with mothers at the 2-week well-child visit for personalized breastfeeding assistance and continue to be available as babies grow. The team reinforces the AAP recommendation of 400 IU of daily vitamin D drops for breastfed infants and counsels families on feeding, bowel habits, and infant sleep during the newborn period.
