We should remember that while we have inherent dignity as we are made in the image of God, we must not let it get to our heads. As Saint Agustine of hippo points out, the devil in his pride decided to disobey God and gather up followers to usurp the throne from God. A fruitless effort he went for the beings who are made in his masters image, us. When we are prideful we emulate Satan. It is one of the seven deadly sins becuase many people are trapped in it. Pride can bring us away from God and relay on our own strength. In todays say and age people put a lot of emphasis on possessions and accomplishments, thinking it will fulfill their lives. May we have the humility of our Lady and her son, our lord Jesus Christ. Stay diligent and pray the rosery everyday
