TESTIMONY TIME📝! To everyone who has known me for a long time, knows that my faith has always been extremely important to me, and my top priority!🤍 I grew up as a cradle Catholic my whole life, and fell away from the church at 17 after my confirmation. I grew up really poorly catechized, but I still loved the Lord! I attended Sunday school every Sunday, and my year was the first to dip their toes and experiment with Lifeteen. This still didn't provide me with all the knowledge and teachings I needed to know and understand about the teachings of Catholic Church. However, in 2020 I got an extremely strong pull to give everything, and surrend to the Lord. I attended a non-denominational young adults group and services online (COV was around). However it never completely fulfilled me, and I always left feeling spiritually empty! I then began the journey of re-catechizing myself, and learning everything about what the Catholic Church actually teaches. From actual Catholic sources and not some random accounts, and websites on the internet. After this, I made my way back to the church and attended a young adult group at my parish where I made great friends! I then also decided it was time to go do a general confession with my parish priest, which I did. And ever since that day my heart feels like it is HOME!❤️ And although there are many misconceptions about The Catholic Church, I am beyond glad I was surrounded by incredible beautiful faithful Catholics! And a beautiful home parish and parish clergy that still to this day continue to show their love and compassion to their parishioners!🙏🏻❤️ So I just wanted to share a bit of my faith journey with you🙌🏼💙. Viva Cristo Rey 👑✝️. God is always and forever good, beautiful and mericful❤️. The journey has not been easy but it has been totally fulfilling and worth it! 🥺🙏🏼.
