Magnificent church in the central of Oxaca. Built by Dominican. When I was their, the people were proud of what their ancestors built as many people compare them to the ones in Europe. All the gold you see used to be thick gold plates, but not sure in what year, but the Mexican government stripped all the gold and now they re did it but with thinner gold plates. Under the church their is tunnels that run all along the city and to the other churches near by as this made it safe for people of the faith to hide when the Mexican government was trying to stop religion.
