I have always believed that there are moments in life when the Lord Himself places signposts in our hearts. They may seem coincidental, but in God’s will, they have long been arranged. I once thought of myself as a “person of faith” because I attended Mass, read Scripture, and prayed. But it wasn’t until a low point in my life that I realized faith is not just about following rituals it is a heart touched and renewed personally by God. That was a time of loss losing direction, losing trust, even losing hope in myself. In the quiet of the night, I often asked, “Lord, what do I have left?” That night, I opened the Bible and read Isaiah 43: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” At that moment, I wept not out of weakness, but because for the first time I truly felt God calling me home. My “rebirth” wasn’t about becoming perfect overnight, but about learning every day to rely on Him. He gently healed my broken heart and taught me to forgive others and myself. I began to see the beauty in life again: the first rays of morning sunlight, the peace found in the Eucharist, a heartfelt blessing from a friend… these are all signs of God’s love. Now, I know that I live not to pursue worldly glory, but to be a witness of God’s love. My career, my family, my time and resources all exist to glorify Him.
