About St. Elizabeth Healthcare
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is a Catholic health care ministry headquartered in Edgewood, KY. It carries on the charism and legacy of the Diocese of Covington / Sisters of the Poor of St. Francis heritage, continuing a long history of religious women and men who founded hospitals to care for the sick, the poor, and the dying. A Catholic health system serving Northern Kentucky, founded in the healing tradition of religious sisters and the Diocese of Covington.

Care is guided by the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services, by a deep respect for the dignity of every human life from conception to natural death, and by a commitment to serve everyone — especially those who are poor, vulnerable, or underserved.
