History
Life Teen began in 1985 at St. Timothy parish in Mesa, Arizona, as a renewal of high-school youth ministry centered on the Eucharist and the Mass. Its founders sought to make the faith come alive for teenagers and to draw them into the heart of the Church.
The model — a dynamic Sunday Life Teen Mass followed by relational small-group gatherings — spread to parishes across the United States and internationally. Life Teen also developed Edge for middle-schoolers, summer camps, and leadership training.
Today Life Teen serves parishes around the world and has formed countless teens, youth ministers, and leaders.

How to get involved
Teens and families can join Life Teen or Edge at a participating parish — use the parish locator on the official website. Parishes and youth ministers can adopt the Life Teen model and access its resources.
