History
Legatus (Latin for 'ambassador') was founded in 1987 by Tom Monaghan, the founder of Domino's Pizza, after an audience with Pope John Paul II. He envisioned an organization where top Catholic business leaders could grow in their faith and bring it into the marketplace.
Organized into local chapters that meet monthly for Mass, a meal, and a speaker, Legatus combines faith formation with fellowship among executives and their spouses. Its mission is summarized in three words: study, live, and spread the Catholic faith.
Today Legatus has chapters across the United States and internationally, serving Catholic CEOs, presidents, business owners, and their spouses.

How to get involved
