History

Fraternus was founded in the late 2000s to address a need for intentional mentorship of young men in the faith, gathering boys and adult men in parish-based chapters for brotherhood, virtue, and formation.

Through weekly gatherings, retreats, and summer excursions, Fraternus pairs older mentors with younger boys to form them in Christian manhood and virtue. A companion program, Fidelis, serves girls and women.

Today Fraternus operates in parishes across the United States, helping fathers and mentors raise the next generation of Catholic men.
